We extended the boil to achieve kettle caramelization and concentrated the wort to bring the malt flavors to the forefront. This results in rich caramel, bread crust, and mild chocolate flavors with a hint of roasted marshmallow, honey, and vanilla, that round out the toasty finish. The malt complexity is not cloying and yet still extremely drinkable.
