Scratch #175 furthers our exploration of the experimental hop variety "06277" (aka "Nuggetzilla"). These potent cones from experimental hop fields in Yakima, WA invigorate this session-strength IPA with an intense smack of pine resin and pineapple as well as gentler notes of strawberry and key lime. To put a local spin on this particular Scratch beer, we've incorporated a percentage of malted barley from Deer Creek Malthouse.
